Daniela Escobar was born in São Borja in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. She discovered the passion for acting in Cinema President, the only one in this small town on the frontier of Argentina, home of Sunday matinées that were her greatest pleasure and responsible for the best memories of her childhood. At the age of ten she moved with her family to Porto Alegre. At the age of sixteen she started to study social communication - (Publicity and Advertising, at PUC). At the age of nineteen, she moved to Rio de Janeiro and start to pursuit her acting career. She ended up changing advertising for classes of theatre, singing, dance to - later on: cameras, her great passion. After a career of eighteen years , seven of which dedicated only to television , has captivated fans all around the world where the soap operas and series are broadcast . Receiving an average of 100 to 150 e-mails a day when she is not on the air and 200 to 300 a day when some of her work is being shown , has in the marketplace , her image associated with seriousness , competence and trustworthiness.
